When you think about how our eyes work, it’s kind of crazy. I mean that our eyes work like cameras capturing everything as it is in our minds. However, just like cameras, the truth is far more complex. Our eyes send electric signals to our visual cortex, located basically between our eyes and brain, which then relays the signal to various parts of the brain where it’s processed in pieces and constructed all within a space of nanoseconds.
It’s funny how much truth there is in the statement “don’t believe your lying eyes.” Because, yes. Our eyes can tell us things that are not necessarily true. Sometimes we see things that aren’t what they seem.
One great example is this hidden-object puzzle. In the puzzle, you have to find the odd duck. But here’s the thing. You have only 20 sec0nds (please start a timer). And this puzzle is a one-shot deal. Once you find it, that’s the end of the challenge.
So if you’re ready, find the odd duck.
Did you find it? How long did it take? Please be so kind as to pass this puzzle along to your friends and family?
