If you grew up in the 1990s, you probably spent a lot of time in front of the TV. The internet didn’t really become that widespread until late in the decade and for most ’90s kids, and at that time, kids didn’t have cell phones yet. Furthermore, the smartphone hadn’t even been invented, and if your house had a computer, it was probably only one computer (and you may or may not have been allowed to use it). Also, in most families, mom and dad both worked. So what did these kiddos do? Well, they pulled out their Day-Glo beanbag chairs and watched TV.
If you were glued to the TV during these formative years, there were some amazing actresses on TV in the 1990s. Chances are, you probably either wanted to be like these ladies or you had a crush on them. Let’s see who we’re talking about.
1. Tiffani-Amber Thiessen from “Saved by the Bell”
This sitcom was geared specifically towards teenagers, so it had a special place in the hearts of anyone who was of that age and watched TV in the 1990s.

3. Christina Applegate in “Married…with Children”
Applegate is in another hit show right now on Netflix called “Dead to Me.” She’s still just as awesome.

4. Katie Holmes from “Dawson’s Creek”
Before she teamed up with a very weird Tom Cruise, everyone fell in love with Katie on TV.

5. Sarah Michelle Gellar from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”
The movie did OK, but the TV show was hugely popular and it was all because of this talented young woman.

6. Jennifer Aniston from “Friends”
First of all, this woman doesn’t age. She’s a timeless beauty. Imagine having a haircut named after your character? She’s an icon.

9. Lisa Bonet from “The Cosby Show”
If young people today don’t know who she is, they certainly know her daughter, the incomparable Zoe Kravitz.

10. Alyssa Milano from “Charmed”
In the 1980s, she grew up in front of our eyes with “Who’s The Boss,” but in the 1990s, it was all about “Charmed.”
